I had to stay as centered as possible during the years when I was the on-duty parent and caretaker as a single mom. One of the most helpful natural stress-release practices I did was a Kundalini Yoga meditation. This is my favorite type of yoga because it’s an adventure in consciousness and the technology of awareness. Yoga fosters a relationship with myself and spirit. When I practice Kundalini yoga I feel healthy, energized, and full of hope. Don’t you want to feel this way?

My Family’s Natural Stress Relief Journey
Kundalini yoga provides a variety of yoga sets and meditations that support natural stress relief and growth in body, mind, and spirit. It has been my practice for many years. When my family had a major turn in the road as my daughter, Dana, fell ill with chronic illness, the original plan of parenting my two daughters through high school and sending them off to college was interrupted. The unexpected brought many gifts disguised as challenges and fostered real life learning.
I offer you a beautiful mantra meditation called “Mother’s Blessing” (Puta Mata Ki Asees) that I played throughout the night as I slept, soothing me and carrying prayers for my daughters.
